The Stranger by Albert Camus

The word we had was based on The Stranger by Albert Camus. In the discussion, I notice a lot of similarities between Camus and Mersault. The first oppugn that led the discussion asked about the biographical, historical, and social perspective of the story, nevertheless what was not exactly in the text itself. The second interrogative leading the discussion asked about how love, death, and survival played in the story itself and in the author. The third question asked to name characters that had a role based on following cultural traditions.
end-to-end this discussion, I saw more and more similarities between Camus and Mersault. For example, they two have very jaded views on love. Mersault treats Marie very unwell regardless of her genuinely, kind attitude. Camus went through three divorces. One of which was to a drug addict who cheated on him and he cheated on her. The link between Camus and Mersault is obvious.
The biography of Camus was also very similar to how Mersaults character. Camus believed that the Arabs and the French should coexist. People are people. Even though Mersault shoots an Arab, he still feels united with the Arabs in prison.
Thats proof that he really did not pay attention to the fact that they were Arabs. They were vindicatory people in his eyes.
Throughout the story there are many acts of oppression. As a feminist, earth-friendly, open-minded female, I noticed the oppression women faced during the 1970s. As I previously stated, Marie was a very genuine person. Mersault, however, did not treat her the same instruction in return. Despite Mersaults crude behavior, Marie still stayed with him. She plain went to court with him. In addition to that, she dealt with the criticism that outsiders gave her for sleeping with a man who was not her husband.
