The Odyssey
In the Webster dictionary, Odyssey means a journey, voyage, or trek. When comparing that to content of the poem it is appropriately titled. The Odyssey is a poem that shows the reader two men and their journey guts to their native acres of Ithaca. They both have different reasons and purposes as to why they began their voyage. Telemachus who left his native land in calculate of his stick and the spectaculargest motivation was to make a name for himself. Odysseus, on the other hand had been away at war for a long time. He thought he would never train his homeland, but with the luck of the gods he was fitting to complete his trek home.
