Metaphors
Im a riddle in ix syllables,
An elephant, a ponderous ho expenditure,
A melon vine strolling on two tendrils,
O red fruit, ivory, fine timbers!
This loafs big with its yeasty rising.

Im a mean, a stage, a cow in a calf.
Ive eaten a bag of green apples,
Boarded the train theres no come inting off.




Sylvia Plaths Metaphors is a short riddle, one stanza and seeing how it is short to each one limn can be interpreted in one essay.
