True Colors by Kristen Hannah is about a crime that shocks a small town, a terrible mistake made by our legal system, sisters who befuddle alienated their way, a boy who doesnt know how to be a man without his father, and true love. I went on a journey to a corner of Washington State, 1992 where girls look fore to the County Fair and sleep in a dusty cubicle every once and a while. I loved this word of honor and I could relate to a lot of the characters. It was compelling, passionate, and inspiring. It shows that even by means of hardships, your family will always be there for you.

Vivi Ann, Win, and daybreak lost their mom at a young age. As they grew up, Aurora got married and had two kids who arent mentioned a lot. Win went to college and got a Masters degree in law. She came back to her inhabitationtown because her family wasnt doing so well financially. Vivi Ann stayed on the ranch with her dad and the buck she got from the mom before she died. The horses name was Clem and she meant the being to Vivi Ann. The ranch worker they hired trashed the place so Win set out to find a new one. Thats when she met Dallas Raintree.



Dallas is good with horses and everything there is to ranching, besides the dad doesnt like him because hes Native American. Win and Vivi convince him to befuddle him a chance and when he does everything right the dad lets him stay. Vivi Ann meets Dallas in the local bar. He just walks up to her and kisses her in reckon of the entire town. Vivi Ann is curious about him. Luke, a childhood friend, comes home from Montana. Win has and always had a crush on him, however Luke came home because he wants to marry Vivi Ann. Win acts weird and Dallas notices and knows precisely whats happening - she is jealous. Her dad finds out that she kissed him and wants to fire him, so she says yes to Luke, even though they are having an affair.
