Based on this law, as a nonexempt employee I would be entitled to overtime for any week in which I worked over forty hours. Therefore, for the above mentioned scenario, I would be entitled to overtime during the depression and second week but not the third and fourth week. I would be entitled to a 5 hours of overtime pay for the first week and 2 hours of overtime pay for the second week. For a total of seven hours to be paid at a rate of 1.5 times my regular pay.
