Do you have college level choose skill? I was thinking, yes I do have college level study skills, until I took the inventory of college level study skills survey. I discovered that a lot of my skill studies were very poor. I was very floor to me that my study skills weren’t on college level. My weak areas were textbook skills, utterance pickings skills, and time management. I have been finding impertinent ways to improve these skills so I can be on college level.
The first skill was textbook skill. Usually, I yet read the text over and over again coif up if I did not understand the text, sometimes this working scarcely usually not. A lot of time, I don’t understand the some of the terms that I encounter in the reading. For this instant on, I ordain try to get the heart of the new terms as I encounter them so get a collapse understand of the material. I will how to use some system such as SQ3R. These ways will help me increase my study skill in textbook skill.
The second weak area was note taking skills; to be honest I never take notes. For now on, I’m going to taking notes during the lecture. This should increase the arrangement of the material being lectured. It will also make certain I understand the most important parts of the lectures.



other good way is to compare my notes with one of the other students to ticking for completeness and accuracy. This will help me better understand the material from any the lecture or the textbook.
The last skill was time management. I have a big problem with this one. One topic I am notorious for is waiting for the last twinkling to study or I don’t study enough. A good way to improve this problem is to make a calendar scheduling a time to study. I also will start my project and assignment ache before they are due. This will also help me better understand the material because I was see it more than at once (reinforcement).
