Hills Like White Elephants and The humbug of an Hour
As I was leaving my class, I remained pensive nearly a real discussion I just had in class. As I arrived home, these two topics still weighed heavy in my head. I began to examine and demo and came to the conclusion that these two stories had more higher peaks in contrast than in similarity, and to be quite honest this was what intrigued me. If you read Hills like White Elephants and The Story of an Hour you would think they be similar exactly they are not, because the locations where each one takes seat at, the different scenarios, and the roles of the main female characters.
Hills like White Elephants takes piazza in a train station in Spain where a American man and a woman are time lag for the train. At the train station they start to cede somewhat beers as they see for the train to arrive to go to Barcelona. However, The Story of an Hour takes place at the house of Louise Mallard. It starts there when Richard, her preserve best friend, and Josephine, her friend, goes to her house to give Mrs. Louise the bad news rough her husband oddment.
The scenarios are very different. Hills like White Elephants is about a couple that are having some beers as they wait outside the train station for the train to arrive.

In the other hand, The story of an Hour starts with the bad news of an accident that leads to the death of Mr. Mallard.
