From everyday test, behavior, attitude, competition, even into relationships, its either pass or fail. In Church we are taught only one social function neer fails. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians chapter thirteen pen eight Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they go forth fail; whether there are tongues, they will causal agent; where there is knowledge it will vanish away. But this moldiness conclude that enjoy is very powerful indeed to never fail. Paul also says in 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, spang, these three, but the greatest of these is love.
In this course Paul was waiting of a particular type of love. This essay will be about the four different types of love and when, how, and where they apply. These four different types are: eros, agape, philia, and storge. To better understand these lets see what definitions are given for each one of these.
First we will take a look at the word eros. Merriam-Websters dictionary defines eros as- the sum of life preserving instincts that are manifested as impulses to gratify basic needs, and as impulses to protect and preserve the personate and mind called also life instinct.



Eros was also a Hellenic mythological character. Eros was the son of Aphrodite. As the Greek God of love, he excited erotic love in gods and mortals with his arrows and torches. This type of love is built into us as preservation. It is the love that stimulates preservation, although the Greeks and Romans took this to the level of sexual gratification, involving sexual drive and ones libido.
Next we have philia love. The dictionary gives us two definitions: 1. magnetic dip toward hemophilia 2. Abnormal attraction to necrophilia.
