The lineage of their relationship is an abdicable and unwelcome situation from Fishers loony toons of view, but it was just a job from the doctors point of view. When, finally Fisher opens up to the Doctor, they begin to develop a relationship. Antwone is nervous and closed at first, but Dr. Davenport doesnt concealment down from asking the searching questions he has asked Fisher. Eventually Davenport learns a lot about Fisher though their sessions. He learns of Antwones troubled past and his struggle growing up a foster child.
Davenport gives Fisher plenty of advice on how to act when the guys anger him or what to say around women but the most heavy advice was when he told Antwone that he should go find his mother, find out her story. At first Fisher was totally turned off to the idea of finding his family that had hurt him so much the ones that showcase all this inner turmoil he was feeling til now now.
But after a little while veritable(a) Fisher realized he had to find them, he had to at least let them know he was alive. This leads Antwone on a long journey to finally find his mother. Although disappointed by her numbness and ignorance he was overjoyed at the friendliness and recognize of family back at his aunts house.
Although Dr. Davenport taught Fisher a great deal, Fisher wasnt the only one that grew as a result of this relationship. Davenport realized the problems in his marriage and Antwone was the one that showed him how changing was possible. Dr. Davenport learned quite a bit from Antwone from the beginning of their relationship which allowed Davenport to teach and mentor Antwone better.
