Personal Carbon stair

My personal carbon footprint was mensurable through the Cool Climate website (http://coolclimate.berkeley.edu/ ). The website projectd my Carbon Footprint as 96 CO2e/yr, as opposed to the US modal(a) universe approximately 67 CO2e/yr for a mob of similar size.
The main contributing factors of this were food purchases, go, public transit(as puff up as airlines), miles /yr driven, and household bills (such as electric or gas). These all were key questions asked on any of the sites available to calculate the footprints. My household is composed of three people all with vehicles. I believe that this was another strong contribution to the reason for it being above the national average. The miles per year were quite a turning above, but the reasoning for this was not so much inefficient driving as it was the fact that we live in the countryside where anything and everything is 20 miles from your household (a prime example being when I was in high school it was 45 minutes round trip, when soul living in the city would only put just about 10 miles round trip to school and back).




Ways to swallow the carbon footprint calculation would be: for food purchases it could be eating a little healthier and less expensive, when it comes to services lower the amounts required to the necessities, for public transit simple arrogate less trips that are unnecessary or plan them a little better. Miles driven per year, speaking from personal experience, it would be top hat to plan everything you can in a trip to townsfolk to avoid wasted mileage, and household bills such as electricity (which is what my household uses) would be another simple one to complete. When your not in a room just cut the twinkle out, or turn off the TV when your done notice it dont leave the room with it on.
